No Onion No Garlic Paneer Makhni
A light and delicious Paneer makhni ideal for days when one is fasting. 
300gms Paneer cut into batons

3-4 large tomatoes 

5-6 cashews

2 green cardamoms 

1″ pc cinnamon

2 cloves

1 bay leaf

1 dried Kashmiri red chilli whole

1 /2tsp Kashmiri red chilli pwd

1 tsp heaped ginger green chilli paste

Sendha namak

1 tsp kasoori methi

1/2 tbsp butter

1/2 cumin seeds

1 tsp oil 
Chop the tomatoes into four pieces . Place in a saucepan. Add in the cloves, cardamoms,cinnamon , bay leaf and red chillies. Add in the cashews.add 2 cups of water and boil till the tomatoes are pulpy . 

Cool and grind this mix. Strain if you must .
Heat 1 tsp oil in a vessel. Add the cumin and ginger green chilli paste . Bhuno for 2 mins.  

Add the prepared tomato gravy ‘ and salt. Let it come to a boil. 

Add the paneer pieces and boil for 7-8 mins. 

Add the butter. Mix

Lightly roast the kasuri methi on a tawa. Cool. Crush between your palms and sprinkle on the makhni paneer. 

Enjoy with rice or parathas / Kuttu Roti
