Bong name for Onion fritters that are so so good n fabulous for the rains with a cup of hot chai or coffee

200 gms besan( chickpea flour)
2 tbsp rice flour
Onions 3-4 sliced thinly
3-4 green chillies pounded
Ginger 1″ pc Pounded
Garlic 3-4 cloves pounded
1 tsp poppy seeds
Salt to taste
Mustard oil for frying

Mix all the ingredients in the besan . Add water to make a thick batter n leave it covered for an hour or so. Make sure the batter is very thick because the onions are going to release their juice .
Heat the MO in a wok n fry the PYAAJI 4-5 pcs at a time on medium heat . Remove on a kitchen tissue paper as they start turning yellow . Just before serving press each PYAAJI between your palms or with the back of a katori n fry till a little brownish in colour
Just eat one or two before serving or you might not get any.
