Ok here goes another jugaad
Paaras were made a few days back
Hidden treasures
Shakkar paara 12-15
Boondi laddoos ( micro Boondi)
Handful of almonds, pistachios slivered
Raisins
Rose petals ( dried) 2 tsps
1/4 tsp cardomom pwd
A few strands of saffron

1 1/2 Ltrs milk reduced to half
Mix inn the dry Fruits saffron and cardomom s n dried rose petals
Keep to cool

Shakkar paara
1 cup maida
2 tbsp ghee/ oil
1/3 – 1/2 cup water
Knead to a semi stiff smooth dough
Keep aside covered for 1/2 n hour
Roll out to about 1/2 cm thickness
Cut into desired shapes ( I like small rectangular). Deep fry in hot oil on a med flame till golden Remove m let cool
Sugar syrup
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp dessicated coconut
Mix water n sugar in a large wok n keep on a high flame to boil . Keep stirrings I that the sugar doesn’t stick to the bottom it shld be the consistency of a three thread syrup
Dunk in all the Paaras and dessicated coconut mix properly till it dries on a low flame. Take off the heat n cool
To assemble;
Take a few verrine glasses
Fill upto 1/3 with the crushed paaras n 4-5 raisins
Then a layer of the micro boondis
Fill up with the Rabdi
Put the assembled glasses in the freezer n chill for an hour
Remove n sprinkle some edible gold dust top with a little laddu n some raisins.
Chill n serve
