Pasta Arrabbiata (my way)

But since I don’t like chillies I went very easy . But please feel free to add as much as you can take. I picked up a few tips from the net ( adding lemon juice n sugar)
I’ve never done it before. But believe me it to the pasta to another level all together
N instead of sprinkling just Parmesan cheese I made a garlic bread seasoning( again taken from the net ) which I sprinkled on top n the taste was just too too good . I only missed the fresh basil as I didn’t have it. Veggies are not normally used in Pasta Arrabiata but I added some.

1 cup penne
300 GMs tomatoes blanched n puréed
1/2 cup cubed red bell pepper( optional)
1/2 cup cubed yellow bell pepper(optional)
1/2 cup mushrooms sliced( optional)
2 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp chilli flakes
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp dried oregano( or pasta seasoning)
A few drops of lemon juice
Garlic bread Sesoning
1 1/2 tbsp olive oil
Olives sliced ( optional)
Salt to taste

Boil a large pot of water as it comes to a rolling boil add salt and the pasta n let it cook el dente
Meanwhile
Heat the oil in a large pan , add the minced garlic , oregano( pasta seasoning) mushrooms. Sauté for a few mins.add the bell peppers. Stir fry for a min. Add the tomato purée , salt n chilli flakes. Check the penne to see if it’s done. Take it out with a slotted spoon add it to the mix. Drop in the olives add the sugar and lemon juice. Mix well. Serve with a sprinkling of garlic bread seasoning.
